Does your system need service?

If your AC is not working properly, you can check these 3 common problems before you call us for service.

#1. Have you changed your air filters lately?
Dirty / clogged air filters can cause a decrease (or complete stop of) air flow, freezing of the evaporator coil, compressor breakdown and eventually a complete system failure. It is recommended that you check and change your air filters every 4 to 6 weeks, in the summer time.

#2. Are the batteries in your thermostat good?
Many AC system thermostats rely on common AA batteries to work correctly. Test and replace them, if needed.

#3. Does the AC breaker need to be reset?
Sometimes, during the hottest summer days, the breaker controlling the AC system will "trip" under the high demand. Check to see if your AC breaker simply needs to be reset.
